A Brazilian movement in the 1950's that merged poetry and visual arts, seeking the "concrete", as opposed to the figurative or abstract. The poetry addressed space and time not yet commonly explored through verse. It allowed for contemplation in the written word.
When the poems were finally published outside of a context that involved visual art, they were published in the form of posters...above.
