When I was in fourth grade, my mom decided to dress me up like a jellybean bag for Halloween.
I guess it was kind of adorable? Except for that the year afterwords, I dressed up as Shirley Temple (I was really into tap dancing, and wanted to dress up as Savion Glover and would have except for the whole skin color issue...I don't think blackface would have been the o.k. thing to do). My Halloween costumes progressively worsened and then kind of stopped.
This year I'm back into it...maybe I'll be a bat.
